Thanks to lockdowns were spending more time indoors at home than ever before and especially for Students this can be very tough. A perfect way to brighten up your room and cheer yourself up is a bit of indoor greenery!
The best reasons to get a houseplant:
· They improve your productivity 🌿
This sounds odd but this is an actual fact that houseplants can improve your work productivity by up to 15%. For any student this is a dream come true helping to relax your busy mind and evoke a sense of calm.
· They brighten up your room 🌿
Got a random space that you don’t know what to do with? A houseplant brightens up any room adding a nice bit of nature plus you can really go out on nice pots to house your plants and show off your creative style.
· They purify the air 🌿
Living in the age of covid-19 could a houseplant reduce the risk? Studies have shown that plants indoors actually can remove up to 87% of airborne toxins within 24 hours essentially purifying the air we breathe which could be a game changer at the moment.
I do admit that previously I somehow find a way to kill even the most hardened of houseplants even ones that just don’t need watering like ever! But since I moved into my new flat, I seem to be having better luck now with 3 plants on the go, a personal best I must say.
But since there’s not much else going on at the minute I might try and post some more about houseplant care and maintenance to keep things rolling along.
