So, you've seen magic buses around Manchester City Centre. Wondering what they are? Why are they different? It's simple. They are CHEAP buses!

They run on 3 routes all down Oxford and Wilmslow Road connecting the city centre to the universities and out into Rusholme, Fallowfield and Didsbury.
Rather than a regular single fair costing £2.50 Magic Bus single fairs will cost you £1.50 during daytime hours and £2 after 12pm. Magic Buses also run till 4am.
See the below map from Stagecoachbus.com to help with the routes.

Here is a breakdown of the Magic Bus's Routes:
142
Piccadilly Gardens = East Didsbury
143
Piccadilly Gardens = West Didsbury
147
Piccadilly Railway Station = West Didsbury
